Recorded at home in the Chicago area, our third full-length LP was painstakingly assembled over sessions beginning back in March 2016. This new group of songs occupies a spacey middle ground between the motorik fare of our first two releases, and a moodier version of the psychedelic drone rock that is our live sound. Dynamic wanderlust led us to create each song as something of its own unique journey. A refinement of our collective experience of the previous decade of playing and recording together, this release marks a departure into more sophisticated, "hi-fidelity" territory that allows individual elements in the mix to breathe and overtake the listener with an almost organic feel, as analog synthesizers play cat and mouse with layer upon layer of guitar texture. Our group telepathy is still very much intact despite time and distance, and with this record, we brought each other a renewed sense of exploration and musical communion when we gathered for each recording session. The diverse scope of the pieces created during these sessions reflects the tremendous energy and inspiration in the room while we were recording.
